Midland Classical Academy

 
Tim Dunn is a founder and has served as Board Chairman since the inception of Midland Classical Academy in 1998. Midland Classical is a K-12 institution; its Upper School curriculum centers on a core reading list rooted in the development of western civilization. The Upper School (grades 7-12) uses a college-style schedule and Socratic teaching methods.

Fine Arts Program

Midland Classical’s fine art program emphasizes the creative process, culminating with film production for seniors who take Advanced Fine Arts.

Sports

Midland Classical has an outstanding sports program, winning state championships in basketball (3), golf (5), and cross country (2). Several athletes have gone on to participate in athletics at the collegiate level, with one all American and two participating at the Division I level.

Senior Oral Exam

MCA seniors display their academic and speaking prowess at a public oral examination. The Socratic methodology produces exceptional abilities to interact and communicate in public, and this practice has become a core tradition at MCA.
